About Laparoscopy

Laparoscopy, also known as diagnostic laparoscopy, is a surgical diagnostic procedure used to examine the organs inside the abdomen. It’s a low-risk, minimally invasive procedure that requires only small incisions. Laparoscopy uses an instrument called a laparoscope to look at the abdominal organs.

Dr. Kandary Nursing home has Laparoscopic Surgery ,Departmental surgery solutions are available like-Laparoscopic Surgery allowing access to the internal organs through A small incision is made in the body and our surgeon watches the image from this HD camera on a LED screen and performs the operative procedure. Two or three other tiny incisions are made in the abdomen and specialized instruments are inserted and used for the removal process.

  • Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, also known as minimally invasive cholecystectomy, is performed through 4 small incisions with use of a camera to visualize the inside of the abdomen and long tools to remove the gallbladder. Surgery is done under anesthesia, and patients are asleep throughout the entire procedure.

  • Laparoscopic Appendectomy

That means it’s done without a large incision. Instead, from 1 to 3 tiny cuts are made. A long, thin tube called a laparoscope is put into one of the incisions. It has a tiny video camera and surgical tools. The surgeon looks at a TV monitor to see inside your abdomen and guide the tools.

  • Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery

Laparoscopic hernia repair is performed with general anesthesia and requires use of a breathing tube. Three half-inch or smaller incisions are made in the lower part of the abdomen. In laparoscopic hernia repair, a camera called a laparoscope is inserted into the abdomen to visualize the hernia defect on a monitor.
