About Eclampsia Unit
The only definitive treatment of eclampsia is delivery of the fetus. However, the mother must be stable before delivery – with any seizures controlled, severe hypertension treated and hypoxia corrected. This is the case regardless of any fetal compromise. Caesarean section is the ideal mode of delivery.

Emergency Life Saving Operation
The emergency life-saving procedure followed for a long duration was ABC (airway, breathing, and chest compression) with the help of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Now new guidelines have been formed as CAB (compression first, followed by clearing the airway and rescue breaths).
Ruptured Ectopic Pregnancy Life Saving Operation
If the ectopic pregnancy is causing heavy bleeding, you might need emergency surgery. This can be done laparoscopically or through an abdominal incision (laparotomy). In some cases, the fallopian tube can be saved. Typically, however, a ruptured tube must be removed.
